Education module 01
Behaviour & Attendance
Daily attendance and behaviour data from your MIS, analysed by school, year group, form and pupil group — and compared across the trust.
Attendance and absence
- Daily attendance and absence from the MIS, analysed by school, year group, form and pupil group — disadvantaged, SEND, EAL and gender.
- Persistent absence (missing 10% or more of possible sessions) and severe absence (missing 50% or more) identified and tracked over time.
- Absence reason codes, patterns by day of the week and by session, and trends against previous years.
Behaviour
- Behaviour incidents, sanctions, suspensions and permanent exclusions, with the same school and pupil-group breakdowns as attendance.
- Trends over the year and against previous years.
Across the trust
Trust-wide comparison puts every academy's attendance and behaviour on the same basis, so practice that works in one school is visible to the others.
Statutory guidance
The module supports schools' work under the DfE's statutory guidance, Working together to improve school attendance. It shows where, when and for which pupils absence is concentrated.
