About IDS
A specialist data company, founded in 2013
Data engineering, BI and hosted applications on the Microsoft data platform, from Burnley, Lancashire.
What we do
Impact Data Systems specialises in data engineering, business intelligence and hosted applications on the Microsoft data platform, working with multi-academy trusts and schools.
The common thread is regulated reporting: taking a published technical methodology — DfE accountability guidance, Environment Agency LCRM guidance — and implementing it faithfully, transparently and repeatably in software.
We're a small company that designs, builds and runs its own platforms: the education reporting service and Tier 1 AutoReport.
Who we are
IDS is a small, specialist company. The people who design the platforms also build and run them, so a question about a measure or a report goes straight to someone who knows how it was built.
